inspiration



where to find it
once you've started a physical practice, whether yoga, pilates or whatever else, your body and mind feels the difference, almost immediately
so, why is it that our momentum fizzles, we become distracted, discouraged even, what is THAT all about?
and where to find inspiration......
we all know how good it feels, the movement, the sweat, the endorphin kick
so, how on a dark, rainy day, or a slummy day or a sleepless nite-day
or just a normal day when we say, NAH......where do we look to find inspiration?
well, get on the floor!!!
lie on your back, clear your mind, and start to focus on your breath
that alone will shift your mindset
then start to let go of your surroundings and just focus on YOU
feel your breath, inhales and exhales
rock through some hip rolls, do some ab preps, or just stretch out
without being hard on yourself, without judgement, just start again
ebbs and flows
days on days off, weeks on, weeks off.....
remember your practice is for YOU, time for you, focus on you, learning about you, watching and growing, all for yourself!
drink water, listen to your favorite get-up and move song and start
just do it, you know you love it!
